Call For Nominations

The Nominating Committee will accept applications, through November 30, 2012, for two positions on PLCU’s Board of Directors (both are 3-year terms) and three positions on the Supervisory Committee (two 3-year terms and one 1-year term). If there is more than one nominee for any vacant office, the Nominating Committee’s slate of candidates will appear on the ballot, which will be mailed to all eligible voting members no later than April 6, 2013. Winning candidates will be announced at the annual meeting on May 1, 2013. If you wish to be considered by the Nominating Committee, please call the Administrative Office at (858) 268-7201 for a list of qualifications, an application, and a consent form.

A petition process is also available to those who wish to be nominated. Any PLCU member may submit a petition signed by no fewer than 100 PLCU members who are entitled to vote. Each signer must be at least 18 years of age and a member in his/her own individual capacity at least since June 1, 2012. Petitions must be postmarked by January 3, 2013, addressed to:
