When learning to drive, there's no substitute for behind-the-wheel experience.  And the best way to learn about money is by using real financial tools.

Think of a Starting Point Account as a financial learner's permit, introducing teens to the services they'll use throughout their lives.

• Free first order of 50 checks
• Debit card* that's also good for online purchases
• Student Visa with up to $500 limit* (minimum age 15)

*Parent or guardian required as co-signer.  Other restrictions may apply.

Just as a student driver needs a qualified instructor, your teen needs you to show them the ropes.  Use their Starting Point Account to teach them to balance a checkbook, track their money, and think before spending.

Anyone 13 to 17 with a parent or guardian who is a PLCU member can open a Starting Point Account.
